A one day workshop organized by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary School Education , Alto -Porvorim was held in the A.V room at DCT’s Vasantro Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira on 17th July 2023.
The workshop was based on the curriculum for the teachers teaching Hindi in various Higher Secondary Schools. on 17th July 202.
Mr. Bhagirath Shetye, Chairman of Goa Board, was invited as the chief guest. Special Guest was Mrs. Surekha Kelkar,Principal of Dempo Higher Secondary School, the convenor of the Abhyas Mandal, (BOS), Mr. Santosh Malik, Vice- Principal Ms. Minaxi Mudaliar and other dignitaries were welcomed.
In this workshop, Mrs. Dr. Vaishali Sanjay Naik and Mr. Salim Gadded guided all the teachers.
In the first session “Mass media and their various dimensions and article writing”, “Journalism and feature writing”, poetic features etc. were discussed whereas in the second session Mr. Sanjay Naik and Dr. Ramashankar Kevat discussed the form and presentation of the question paper.
About 120 all Goa Hindi teachers teaching Std XI and XII were present for the workshop.
The program started with a welcome song sung by the teachers of Dempo Higher Secondary School.
Compering was done by Mr. Ajay Vilas Joshi and Shri. Sanjay Madhukar Naik proposed the vote of thanks. The program was conducted from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
