PTA General Body Meeting for parents of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science & Commerce, Cujira of Std. XI and XII Science was held on 24th June 2023 and Std. XI and XII Arts & Commerce was held on 1st July 2023.
Principal, Mrs. Surekha Kelkar introduced and welcomed the Resource person, Mrs. Sulaksha Gawas, Counsellor.
The toppers of the Std XII Arts, Science and Commerce 2022-23 were felicitated and appreciated by the Principal , Vice Principal and Resource person.
The Resource Person, Mrs. Sulaksha Gawas, gave talk on Parenting, Mental Health of students and Counselling. She spoke about 3Ps- Planning, Preparation and Participation of Parents in their ward studies and behavior, RIASEC types to know the personality of their ward and also asked parents to inculcate reading habits etc.
In charge of Discipline committee – Sir Shirish Bhide highlighted rules and regulations of the school.
Mrs. Vidhya Joshi and Mrs. Sneha Raikar, Librarian briefed parents regarding School Library books and book reading.
The Vice Principal Madam spoke about fixing study hours, physical activity etc.
The Vote of Thanks proposed by PTA Secretary Tr. Supriya Angle.
Tr. Vanaja Mudaliar compered the Programme.
PTA President Akshata Bhat attended the meeting.
