On the account of Jal Pakhwada, various activities to bring awareness about water conservation among the students and teachers were conducted in DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira during 16th April to 23rd April 2024.
Following were the activities conducted:
1) Pledge on water conservation: Pledge was conducted to bring awareness about the water conservation among the students, teachers and parents during the period from 16th April to 23rd April 2024, in our HSS.
2) Audio visual session: For Audio- visual session, videos on the topics like Rain water harvesting, Step Well- Chand Baori, short Talk by famous lake conservationist, Mr. Anand Malligavad were shown .
3) Quiz competition on awareness on Water Conservation was conducted in AV Room on 22nd April 2024. Quiz master was Sir Prashant Naik. Score keeper and Time keeper for the Quiz were Ms. Neha Amonkar and Ms. Pooja Morajkar respectively. Four teams as the finalists were selected from 12 teams after the conducting the preliminary round.
4) Poster making competition : On 23rd April 2024, Poster making competition and display was organized in the school library. Posters were judged by Tr. Aparna Dhawlikar.
In-charge Teachers for all the above four activities were Mrs. Indira Narvekar and Mrs. Pooja Morajkar.
