A session on ‘Careers in Geospatial Technology’ was held by Geography and Geology department in the AV room of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, on 31st August 2024.
The session was conducted for the students of Geology and Geography subjects.
Mr. Malcom Afonso was the Resource person for the session. He is the entrepreneur who runs a startup know as Geosensitive, which provides GIS and Drone Remote Sensing solutions with a specific focus on real estate sector. The Importance of GIS and Remote Sensing, Careers available in Geospatial Technology sector and educational qualification requirements etc. were discussed in the session.
