Librarians’ Day was celebrated on 12th August 2024 at 11 am in the school library of DCTs Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Dr. S.R Ranganathan, Father of Library Science.
Our Principal, Ms. Minaxi Mudaliar spoke regarding the library usage by the students, especially the literature students. She also spoke on reading habits.
Our Vice Principal, Mrs. Maya Sardessai garlanded his photo.
Librarian Mrs. Vidhya Joshi spoke about Dr. S.R Ranganathan and his 5 laws of Library Science. She also spoke on library reading habits.
The function was attended by the teachers, students council members and other students.
In-charges were Mrs. Vidya Joshi and Mrs. Sneha Raikar.
