A total of 13 Students of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira from std. XI and XII Science attended the Webinar on “How to be a New Age Engineer” along with In-charge Teacher Mrs. Toshita Raikar.
-> The Session was conducted on 19th April 2024 5pm to 6:30pm on Zoom Platform.
-> The mentor was Dr. Gaurav Kumar.
-> The Session was divided into 4 parts as below:
1. Evolution of Engineering and its Impact • From Pyramids to Pixels: Exploring how engineering has shaped civilizations, from ancient wonders to modern tech marvels.
2. Expectations and Aspirations from New age engineers • Expecting the engineers to be more than tech wizards-effective communicators, problem solvers, and team players.
3. Strategies for Success • Skill Set Remix: Blend technical prowess with creativity. Learn coding, data analytics, and design thinking
4. Career Choices • Diverse Trajectories: Research, industry, academia, or entrepreneurship-each path offers unique opportunities
-> The Session ended with a Q&A Session wherein students asked their doubts related to Engineering and the Session.
-> The session was excellent and we were able to understand engineering field deeply and how we can become a good engineer and succeed in Life.
