One day Teacher’s workshop on “Advanced Technologies for sustainability” was organized by Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda on 18th August 2023 from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. Computer Science Teacher from DCT’s Vasantro Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, Mrs. Toshita Raikar attended the workshop.
Mr. Shailesh Zhingade, Director of Education Department was the chief guest.
The workshop had the following 4 sessions:
Session 1: Mindful thoughts by Mrs. Suvarna Salunke, Tr. Navy children school and Yoga practitioner.
Session 2: Smart Agriculture by Prof. Ajit Salunke, Associate Prof. Mechanical Engineering department, DBCE.
Session 3: GIS and Remote Sensing by Dr. Shweta Prasanna, Associate Prof. Civil Engineering department, DBCE.
Session 4: Advanced Technologies for Energy Security by Mr. Abhinav Apte, Mechanical Engineer, General Manager of Soil Waste Management, Goa Government.
Tour of the CDC Laboratory and Prototyping Laboratory of DBCE was conducted.
Certificate was provided at the end of the session.
