The Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri were celebrated on 30th September 2023 in DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira.
A short program was held at the entrance lobby of the school at 11:40 a.m. Floral tribute was given to portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal bahdur Shastri.
Principal, Mrs. Surekha Kelkar expressed her views on the life of both the legends.
Mrs. Darshita Chari sang Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite Bhajan Vaishnava Jana.
Librarian Mrs. Vidya Joshi and student Miss. Sanvi Naik gave a speech on this occasion.
Lastly a group of students sang Raghupati Raghav Bhajan.
The Compering of the Program was done by the Student Council In Charge Teacher, Mrs. Antima Satarkar.
Vice Principal Ms. Minaxi Mudaliar, Teaching and Non- Teaching staff, CR’s and ACR’s attended the Program.
