Mr. Vishal Bhandari, Physical Education Teacher of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira successfully attended 3 months (90 days) of training for ANO’s (associate NCC officer) from 11th June 2023 to 9th September 2023 at OTA (Officers Training Academy) Kamptee, Nagpur- Maharashtra.
He was also appointed for the Naval Wings Platoon Commander of the OTA during the Passing Out Parade where he marched smartly to the martial tunes played by the military band of brigade of the Guards Regimental Centre..
He was awarded with Commandants Silver Medal for his Outstanding Performance during the Course and honored with rank of Sub. Lieutenant Vishal Bhandari after completion of the PRCN course at Kamptee, from the Navy wing of 1 Goa Naval Unit NCC.
