Biology Department of DCT’s Vasantro Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira conducted an awareness session on snakes of Goa on 19th August 2023.
The Principal, Mrs. Surekha Mrs. Surekha Kelkar welcomed the Resource person and his team.
Mrs. Lina Parab introduced the Resource person Mr. Shricharan Dessai.
The resource person beautifully conducted the session which made the audience aware about different types of snakes and also informed them about the protection and prevention from snake bites.
Live snakes of various venomous , nonvenomous and mild venomous types were shown which was thoroughly enjoyed by students.
Mrs. Indira Narvekar compered the Programme and Mrs. Siddhi Naik proposed vote of thanks.
