On 21st January 2023, SCI-FFI 2023 Curtain Raiser of Science Film Festival Of India was held in the A.V room of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira at 11.00 am.
Students and teachers from Dr K.B Hedgewar HSS, Mushtifund HSS and our school attended the event.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest honorable Vice Chancellor of Goa University Prof. Harilal Menon, Project Coordinator of Goa Science Centre Shri Vilas Chowdhari, Scientist from BITS Goa Prof Arun Kulkarni and President of Vidnyan Parishad Goa, Shri Suhas Godse.
A SCI-FFI Promo video was shown on the occasion to sensitized the students about SCIFFI 2023.

The Poster of SCIFFI 2023 was released at the hands of the Chief guest Prof. H.B Menon.
The Chief guest for the event Prof. H.B Menon through his speech encouraged the students to develop interest in science and motivated them to serve the Nation through the medium of science.
The Guest speaker Prof. Arun Kulkarni through a power point presentation spoke to the audience on some significant science discoveries and forth coming research in field of Physics.
