On 5th January 2023, a talk on “Offences of Sexual Assaults and Harassment” was organized in DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira for the students of std. XI Arts B, XI Science A & B and XI Commerce B & C and staff members in the A.V room from 11.30 am onwards.
Principal Mrs. Surekha Kelkar welcomed both the resource persons and gave a brief introduction of the two speakers, who are a part of NALSA (National Legal Services Authority, North Goa).
Resource Person Advocate, Mrs. Akshata Puranik Bhat gave a talk on Offences of Sexual Assaults and Harassment and Advocate, Mrs. Vijaylaxmi Shivolkar briefed about the Legal Consequences of the Sexual Assaults and Harassment crimes.
The programme was compered by Mrs. Amelia Baretto and she was also the Teacher in-charge of the programme.
