On 13th December 2022, ‘Electoral Literacy Club’ of DCT’s Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira organized two activities namely Elocution Competition and Poster making competition on the topic ” Importance of Voting in Democracy ” for the students of Arts stream.
In the Elocution competition, Miss Swara Lawande (11 Arts B ) secured the 1st place while Miss Graca Abreau (11Arts A) and Miss Saisha Sawant (12 Arts A) secured the 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
In Poster making competition, Miss Shriya Patiekar secured the 1st place while Miss Saachi Naik and Kaavya Ananthu secured the 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Miss Mrugana Savaikar highlighted the significance of Voting in Democracy.
Mr. Dhiraj Vengurlekar and Mr. Utkarsh Dhawaskar took the initiative in organizing the activities.
Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Dhiraj Vengurlekar and expressed the gratitude towards the Principal Madam for her co-operation and support.
