As the Principal of this institution, I welcome everyone to a journey of growth, creativity, excellence and innovation during this academic year. It gives me great pleasure to team with dedicated teachers and administrative staff to embark on a new academic year pushing boundaries and challenging ourselves to strive for greatness and success. Quality Infrastructure

VDHSS is located in a modern well designed building at Cujira, Bambolim, Goa. Students studying here will have the advantage of good quality infrastructure, digital facilities, well-equipped laboratory, large library, computer lab, multipurpose hall, sports facilities and common room. The biggest advantage, of course, is our qualified and dedicated teachers, and years of goodwill that the school enjoys.

Streams

Arts

Arts students have an opportunity to learn various compulsory subjects such as Economics, Political Science, Psychology and English. They are also provided with a choice of Optional subject such as History or Sociology and a variety of choices available in the Second Language subject such as Hindi or Konkani or Marathi or French or Sanskrit or Portuguese. The Arts students have a total of 6 Major subjects each for std. XI and std. XII. The students can also avail the facility of our well-equipped ICT laboratory.

Science

Science students have an advantage to experience and have hands-on practice in our various well-equipped laboratories such as Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Computer Science Lab and Geology Lab. The std. XI students have an opportunity to learn various compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. They are also provided with a choice of Optional subject such as Biology or Computer Science or Geology and a variety of choices available in the Second Language subject such as Hindi or Konkani or Marathi or French or Sanskrit or Portuguese. The students of std XII have an option to choose between the following subjects i.e Mathematics or Psychology and Biology or Computer Science or Geology or Psychology. The Science students have a total of 6 Major subjects each for std. XI and std. XII. The students can also avail the facility of our well-equipped ICT laboratory.

Commerce

Commerce students have an opportunity to learn various compulsory subjects such as Economics, Accounts, Business Studies and English. They are also provided with a choice of Optional subject such as Banking or Mathematics & Statistics or Geography or Co-operation and a variety of choices available in the Second Language subject such as Hindi or Konkani or Marathi or French or Sanskrit or Portuguese. Commerce students can opt for Practical based optional subjects such as Banking or Geography and can experience and have hands-on practice in our well-equipped Geography laboratory. The Commerce students have a total of 6 Major subjects each for std. XI and std. XII. The students can also avail the facility of our well-equipped ICT laboratory.
